Chevy Cruze/Trax 2016-2024 4-Button Remote Head Key

Note: For 2016 models, please make sure that the vehicle is under the newer XL8 system and using the 433 MHz system: Remove the trunk floor trim panel and locate the SPID label. Then locate RPO - XL7 OR XL8 on the label. Dealers are required to write XL8 over the XL7 if they did the repair.

*Note: 2016 Cruze is a split year and early production models may have been boosted by the dealership from 315 MHz to 433 MHz due to remote transmission range shortages. Please locate the SPID label underneath the trunk floor panel to check for this upgrade. The label should read XL8; if it doesn't, this remote is not the correct one. We recommend trying the 315 MHz version (XL7) instead.
